CHAPTER 56
Dhanalaxmi saves Devyani
Manikyam returned at night at 10pm. Dhanalaxmi
was very tense and angry. Manikyam was shocked. He put the suitcase down. “How is
she?”
Dhanalaxmi was very angry. “You brought her as a
second set up for me.”
Manikyam was shocked. “Where is she?”
‘I never thought that you will do such a 3rd
class thing. Why did you bring that bitch to my house?”
Manikyam was shocked. “What are you saying? Tell me.
What have you done to her?”
“What to do? Her husband came. I sent her with him.”
Manikyam was shocked. He became serious. “What have
you done? Poor girl.”
He toll her everything. Dhanalaxmi was shocked. She
put her hand on her head. Then she became furious. She caught hold of his shirt
collar. “What a man you are. You are a demon. What have you thought of a lady?
Is she a foot ball? You have put her in fire.”
Manikyam put his hand on his head. He had tears in his
eyes.
Dhanalaxmi approached him. “What is the use of just
sitting and crying? Tell me where they must be now.”
Manikyam got up. “They are rowdies.”
“Do you know where they are?”
Manikyam nodded. “They must be at the resort.”
Dhanalaxmi went and took a revolver.
Manikyam was shocked. “What are you doing?”
“I will drop their dead bodies and bring her. You come
with me.”
She went out and climbed into the car. Manikyam sat in
the driver’s seat.

Rajiv, Naga and Tirupati were enjoying drank
at the table in the resort.
Naga got up. “I am still unmarried. I am so busy in
politics. For the 1st time, I will taste a lady.’
Tirupati said, “You go and finish. I will have the 2nd
round. This badmash has enjoyed for one month.”
Naga said, “She is like a daughter to that Shivayya my
enemy. He kept her in his heart. I will have double enjoyment with her.”
He took two more pegs and climbed up the stairs.
Meanwhile, the car with Dhanalaxmi and Manikyam was
going at a high speed.
Dhanalaxmi said, “Increase the speed. I am worried
what they will do to her.”
Manikyam increased the speed of the car.
Naga entered the room. Devyani was sitting on the bed.
She was scared on seeing him. Naga attacked her.
The car stopped in front of the resort. Rajiv and
Tirupati were half drunk. Dhanalaxmi entered the room followed by Manikyam.
Dhanalaxmi hit Tirupati. He falls.
Rajiv was shocked. “Amma, you here?”
She hit him. He fell down. She pointed the gun at his
head. “Where is she?”
Rajiv pointed up. “Upstairs.”
Dhanalaxmi and Manikyam ran up the stairs with Rajiv
and Tirupati.
Tirupati knocked on the door.
Naga asked, “Who is knocking?”
Tirupati said, “It is me.”
Naga got angry. “You bastard. Why are you disturbing
me? Let me finish. Why are you in a hurry?”
Dhanalaxmi whispered in Tirupati’s ear. “Tell him that
his father is here.”
Tirupati shouted, “Eh! Your father is here.”
Naga was shocked. He quickly put on his clothes and opened
the door. Dhanalaxmi entered. Naga was shocked to see her. She gave him one
kick on his chest. Naga fell down. She hit him left and right.
Dhanalaxmi said, “That girl’s morality is important.
So I am leaving you all. Otherwise I would have killed the three of you and
gone to jail.”
The three men shivered. Devyani was shivering with
fear.
Dhanalaxmi picked up her sari and gave it to her. Then
she folded her hands.
“Please forgive us. If you had told me I would have
made taught them a lesson at my house itself.”
She pointed to her husband. “This man who is my
husband did not tell me anything.’
She patted Devyani’s head. “Such a golden girl. I too
hit you. I did not know the reality. Please forgive me.”
She hugged her tight. “You are like my daughter.”
Devyani cried loudly. “Amma!”
Dhanalaxmi said, “Yes. You are my daughter. I will
look after you. Come with me.”
She took her out.
