Manikyam is shocked to hear about Rajiv

Rajiv showed Manikyam the door of Devyani’s room. Manikyam was totally drunk. His body was shaking and he could hardly stand properly.

Naga looked through the key hole. “Yes. It is her. We will go down and continue party. You talk to her.”

Naga and Rajiv left. Manikyam knocked on the door. Devyani opened it and was surprised to see Manikyam. She felt she has seen him somewhere. “You.”

Manikyam nodded. “Yes it is me.”

Devyani was shocked. “What are you doing here? Where is Rajiv?”

Manikyam showed a signal. “I have given money and purchased you.”

Devyani was shocked. “What are you saying? I am a married woman.”

She shouted loudly. “Rajiv.”

Manikyam tried to catch hold of her. Devyani kept shouting.

The 3 men downstairs hear the shout.

Naga asked, “Does Manikyam know all about this drama?”

Tirupati laughed. “No. I did not tell him. I have shown her to him just now. Let him do whatever he wants. He said he wanted her and we have given her.”

Drunken Manikyam pulled Devyani’s sari and fell on her. Devyani kept shouting ‘Rajiv’. Suddenly she picked up the glass of water and threw it on him. The water fell on Manikyam’s face.

Manikyam wiped his face. She ran to the door and tried to open it. But it was bolted from outside. Manikyam approached her again. She picked up the jug of water and poured water on his head. Manikyam wiped the water from his face. Due to the water, he became a bit sober.

Devyani shouts loudly ‘Rajiv’.

Manikyam asked, “Who is Rajiv?”

“My husband. I am now married. My husband left me here and went down 10 mins back.”

Manikyam was surprised. “Your husband?”

Devyani fell at his feet. “Please leave me alone. I am like your daughter. “

She got up and opened the suitcase. She showed him her marriage photo.

Manikyam was shocked to see the photo. “This fellow? But he is junior artist Akbar. A Muslim boy. He is not Rajiv.”

Devyani was shocked. Manikyam told her everything. Devyani listened with a shock. “We got married just one month back.

She toll him everything.

Manikyam was shocked. “Please forgive me. I was half drunk. What a terrible thing they have done to you. When I saw you, I dreamt of putting you in my film. But I never thought that they will use you like this. Please forgive me.”

He folded his hands. Then he got up to leave. “I am going.”

Devyani was shocked. She pleaded. “Uncle.”

Manikyam was shocked.

Devyani said, “Uncle, where shall I go now? If my father comes to know of this, he will take poison and die. I cannot go home.”

She fell at his feet and held his legs not allowing him to leave.

Devyani pleaded. “Please give me some work. I will do cooking and cleaning work at your house. Please save me from these people.”

Manikyam had tears in his eyes. He made her get up. “I had a daughter like you. It is one year since she died.”

He wiped her tears. “I will keep you in my house like my own daughter. Come. Let us go.”

Devyani took her suitcase and they went down.
