Shivayya’s Organization

Meeting was going on. Shivayya said, “We must get good seeds through our organization and distribute it. We can form societies and through these societies we can purchase the seeds directly from the companies.”

Farmer’s societies came up in all villages. Shivayya kept visiting these societies once in a while.

Naga was boiling in range. Manohar was sitting with his hands on his head.

Naga said, “You are sitting in Hyderabad as minister and enjoying yourself. Here that Shivayya is shaking our base. He has opened a society in our village also. All our followers are leaving us and joining his group.”

Manohar said, “I am observing all that. I know everything since I keep getting all information. I am thinking of cutting him down. But time has to ripen.”

Naga was frustrated. “Since 20 years you have been experiencing everything as MLA and minister. Now I must become MLA. If he stands as a challenge to me, what shall I do?”

“We will use the same formula which I have been using since last 20 years. Using money power, muscle power and rigging we will win again.”

Oblesh got angry. He waved his machu. “Bhava, if we leave him free, we have no life.”

Manohar said, “It is not so easy to cut him down. We have to plan carefully. If you confront him, your head will fall.”

Suddenly Raju came down the stairs.

Naga observed him. He closed his eyes. “Appa, if we want to control Shivayya, all we have to do is to get that fellow married to Shivayya’s sister.”

Manohar was excited. “Yes. But I had told him not to go with her. Maybe he has left her.”

Raju approached his father. “Papa, I want to talk to you.”

Manohar said, “I too want to talk to you. It is about your marriage.”

Raju was shocked. “You may scold me but I will marry only Shivayya’s sister, Vasundara.”

Manohar smiled happily. “I wanted to talk about that only. Shivayya and I not see eye to eye on some topics but I had gone to his house to talk about your marriage. His father agreed but Shivayya said that he will kill her if you marry her.”

Raju was shocked. “I will remain a bachelor if I can’t get her. “

Manohar said coolly, “I know your feelings. You just listen to me. If we help you to get married, that Shivayya will come to fight.  So you do one thing.”

Raju was desperate. What shall I do?”

“You also do what he did. You take her to Tirupathi Tirumala temple and marry her. Let us see what he will do.”

Raju was shocked but happy to see that his father was supporting him.

“She also does not like her brother so much.”

Manohar nodded. “Good. You will have no problem convincing her.”

Raju was happy. “I do as you say.”

Raju already had Vasundara in his control. When he told her of his plans, she agreed immediately without any resistance. Both of them went to Tirupati temple and got married secretly.
