Shivayya joins party

Shivayya met CM and said, “I will join the party but if you give ticket to Manohar and Shivaram, I will resign immediately.”

CM said, “You don’t worry about anything. The both of them will not get any seat.”

Shivayya agreed. “Ok then. You can announce that I am joining the party.”

People rejoiced on Shivayya’s entry into politics.

Shivaram was sitting with Naga and Manohar.

Shivaram said, “In the next election, I will not get ticket. Also, he has made your father retire. Whatever he says will happen.”

Shivayya said, “First we will go to meet a political swami who has come to town. He is a great friend of our CM. Then we will go to purchase some saris for your aunty, dresses and ornaments for you. After all, your marriage will be settled soon.”

Devyani was anxious. “You keep mentioning my marriage. But I don’t want to get married and go away from you all. I would like to be with you all whole life.”

Shivayya looked at her affectionately. “How can you say that? Even if you get married, I will visit you once a month.”

“I wonder whether you will do that. You are so busy. You may come once in 6 months.”
